The Elko County Clerk's Office plays a part in the process for a citizen to become a Notary in the State of Nevada.  The Clerk's Office will file your notary bond and administer the oath of office as part of the Secretary of State's process.  You are then given a filing notice that you submit with your application to the Secretary of State's office.
