Welcome to the Elko County Road's Department. 

The Elko County Roads Department maintains approximately 1,000 miles of roads for our County in 4 very distinct seasons while maintaining and servicing county vehicles.  Work depends on the season, but can include such projects as chip & seal projects, bridge replacements, dust suppressant application, snow removal, road upgrades to county standards, etc.   Our crews are also concerned about the spread of weeds while road maintenance is being done and follow guidelines to curve as much spreading of weeds as possible.
