Pay Taxes

There are four ways to pay your tax bill:

Option #1 For Paying Your Taxes:  ONLINE BILL PAY

Do you use online banking or bill pay to pay your bills?
Use it to pay your property tax too - it's fast and easy!

Elko County is linking our tax receivable system with all of the major online bill pay sites in order to accept your online banking payments electronically.     Just follow these steps:

Logon to your bank's online website and select "Bill Pay"tab.  Select the add new payee function or search payee function.  In the "company name" search filed, type in: 
     Elko County

Be prepared to provide verification details like the full address or zip code:
     Elko County Treasurer
     571 Idaho Street, Suite 101
     Elko, NV 89801

Enter your parcel number or personal property account number in the account number field, including hyphens, example 001-002-003 or TU-123456

The website will prompt you to click 'Save" or "Make Payment".

**The first time you establish Elko County Treasurer as a payee, please allow enough time for your payment to be delivered.  Once the electronic connection has been established, you will be able to schedule your payment closer to the due date.

Option #2 For Paying Your Taxes:  PAY ONLINE

You may also pay with a credit card through our third party provider.  Please click on the link below.  Please note:  There is a convenience fee charged for online payments.  Fees for e-check payments are $3.00 and fees for credit cards are 2.5% of the tax amount paid ($1.00 min).

Option #3 For Paying Your Taxes:  MAIL IN PAYMENT

You can mail in your payment to:
     Elko County Treasurer
     571 Idaho Street, Suite 101
     Elko, NV 89801

To ensure accurate posting, please include the appropriate payment stub for each property.  Your check is your receipt.  If an additional receipt is needed, request one with your payment.

Option #4 For Paying Your Taxes:  PAY IN PERSON

You may pay in person at Suite 101 of the Elko County Courthouse.  We are open Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and open through the lunch hour.  Or drop your payment in the new Payment Drop Box in the new County Parking Lot across the street from the Nannini Administration Building.
