 The Board of County Commissioners, County of Elko, State of Nevada, will meet in regular session on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. and Thursday, May 3, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. in Suite 102 of the Nannini Administration Building, 540 Court Street, Elko, Nevada.  All times Pacific Time.

 Attached with this Notice is the Agenda for said meeting of the Board.
This Notice is posted pursuant to N.R.S. 241 as amended by the 2011 Legislature.

A. --     Discussion and consideration of issues regarding the Mountain City, Ruby Mountains and Jarbidge District Travel Management Project ROD and the possible development of a resolution of joint support and the possible formation of an organization with other affected counties and tribal councils and all other matters related, thereto.

B. --     Discussion and consideration of the USFS TMP impact upon the previous road agreement regarding Gold Creek Road, Charleston to Jarbidge Road and Trail Creek Road on which the County has performed maintenance activities for many years and which roads are heavily used for public access and all other matters related, thereto.

 

 VI. --  US DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR – BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT:
          
Greater Sage-Grouse Interim Management Policies and Procedures Instruction

Discussion and consideration of issues related to the Greater Sage-Grouse Interim Management Policies and Procedures IM including impacts to public lands management processes and operations including discussion regarding the Governor’s Greater Sage Grouse Advisory Committee, impacts upon the China Mountain Wind Power Project and other possible public land management implications and all other matters related, thereto.

Discussion and consideration of water resource management and water rights issues that may impact Elko County including possible discussion related to the Southern Nevada Water Authority pipeline project and the Central Nevada Regional Water Authority activities and issues and all other matters related, thereto.

B. --     Discussion and consideration of the first reading of Ordinance 2012-05, Bill E, entitled, AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ELKO COUNTY CODE, SECTION, 8-1-1, TO CORRECT TYPOGRAPHICAL ERROR AND ALL OTHER MATTERS PROPERLY RELATED THERETO, which section deals with traffic laws.
