Oil Well Fire Demolition Permit Fees Waived


The Elko County Board of Commissioners voted at a Special Meeting on July 25, 2017 to waive all Demolition Permit Fees for those affected by the Oil Well Fire.  For those who already paid, a refund will be issued.

Permits are required and help the Assessor's Office in eliminating the taxes of the structures destroyed on the tax bill.  Land taxes will still be assessed.

Commissioners will also be considering waivers on other permit fees for those affected by this fire as citizens try to rebuild their homes.
