Press Open on a line item to see additional names, etc. Starting 2000, Open a line item and the document can be viewed and/or printed. Filed maps, 1869 to present, can be searched by section, township and range or document number and can be viewed/printed.

This
office is responsible for the recordation and permanent retention
of Elko County records. Examples of recorded documents are
Deeds, Deeds
of Trust (Mortgages), Liens,
Leases, Mining Claim Records and a variety of property documents
including all filed land survey maps. Vital Records include
Births and Deaths (prior to 1910) and Marriage Certificates
(proof of marriage). Elko County records start in March 1869.
There is no charge for use of the records; statutory fees apply
for recording, transfer tax and certified copies.
