COVID-19 OFFICE PROCEDURES AND CONTACT INFORMATION
Marriage Licenses - Commencing on March 25, 2020, the Clerk’s Office will no longer be issuing Marriage Licenses until further notice. Currently scheduled appointments will be honored.
CHANGES TO THE PRIMARY ELECTION
The Elko County Clerk is an elected official of Elko County and is located in the Annex Building at 550 Court Street on the 3rd floor. The office provides many services including marriage licenses, public notary oaths, dog licenses, jury summons, fictitious firm names, domestic court forms, elections coordination and court services. The Clerk's office is also the official record keeper for all Commissions and Boards that are set up and appointed by the Elko County Board of Commissioners.

PURSUANT TO RULE 15 OF THE RULES OF PRACTICE FOR THE FOURTH JUDICIAL DISTRICT COURT OF THE STATE OF NEVADA, DOCUMENTS THAT ARE DIRECTLY FAXED TO THE ELKO COUNTY CLERK'S OFFICE WILL NO LONGER BE FILED AS OF JANUARY 21, 2020.

FEE INCREASE NOTICE - EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2019
Fictitious Firm Name/Certificate of Business transaction fee - $25.00.
Marriage Officiant Application fee - $30.00.
MARRIAGE LICENSE INVOLVING MINORS - EFFECTIVE OCTOBER 1, 2019
Pursuant to AB139, 80th Legislative Session 2019, a minor who is 17 years of age may marry only if the minor has consent of:
(a) Either parent; or (b) The minor’s legal guardian
the minor also obtains authorization from a district court.
