Vaccine Age Group Expands to Include 65 and Older and More

Elko County is working closely with our healthcare partners to rapidly expand the efforts to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to prioritized populations of the public based on available vaccine supplies and the updated state guidelines.

Effective immediately, individuals age 65 and older are eligible to vaccinated as well as the agriculture and food processing and end-to-end essential goods supply chain groups of the Frontline Supply Chain and Logistics section of the Frontline/Essential Workforce lane of the prioritization schedule.

Citizens 65 and older are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.  There will be a clinic at the Elko Convention Center on January 29th and 30th from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.   Here's the link to register.  Find more information on our COVID-19 pages of our website under the Board of Health.
