Open Burning Temporarily Closed Due To Significant Wind Events Forecasted For The Weekend

OPEN BURNING TEMPORARILY CLOSED
The Elko County Fire Protection District would like to inform all residents of the unincorporated areas of Elko County, open burning will be CLOSED effective Saturday, April 24, 2021 through Sunday, April 25, 2021.
This is due the projected significant increase in wind this weekend through Monday.
Open burning will tentatively resume on Monday, April 26, 2021 at 6:00a.m.
